On March 16, 2020 the traditional way of educating students changed overnight. Schools across the country were forced to shut down due to concerns around the COVID-19 Virus. Teachers had to shift from face to face class sessions into 100% virtual or what many call "Distance Learning." As a Principal of a 6-12 charter school in Watts (LA), California, (and trained Graphic Designer), I was able to pull up my boot straps and transform my campus into a virtual learning environment, coaching a staff of 60 each step of the way. There are so many unanswered questions, the future of education is still unknown- but what we know for sure is that time stands still for nobody and as educators- we must press forward.
